This season, we will continue to strive for the same level of excellence, exposure and success.

The Mid-Atlantic Magic Girls Basketball Association was created to take the focus away from the normal politics of AAU, and instead, place the emphasis back where it belongs, on the girls and the game of basketball.

In our inaugural season of 2008, we featured four teams at ages 9-13.  In 2010, we expanded and added a 12-13 Regional Team and a 14U team.  In 2010, we will continue to grow, with the addition of a new age group at 15U and the goal of a strong team at each age level from 9 - 15.  At the younger ages, our goal is to create teams that will be competitive at the Regional and National levels, while at older ages, ensure that players receive college exposure as they advance through the program.  Each Mid-Atlantic Magic team is expected to compete in the Mid-Atlantic Qualifying tournament, and then at the National Championship Tournament where applicable.  Teams not qualifying for National Tournaments are expected to compete in Junior Nationals or Exposure events.

In 2008, we were able to bring home bronze medals at 9U, 10U and 13U, and our 11U earned a bid to Nationals with a 5th place finish at their respective Middle Atlantic District Qualifying Tournaments.

In 2009, our 14U won gold at the Belles SRT and attended D1 Nationals in Roanoke, VA.  This team also had great exposure to college coaches and recruiters through the Boo Williams Tournament in Hampton, VA.  The 13 Wright team also received national experience in Hampton at D3 Nationals.  The 11U performed well at the US Junior National Championship in Hershey, PA, and the 9U finished 4th in the Middle Atlantic District Championship, earning a bid to D1 Nationals in Monroe, LA.

In 2010, our 9U earned bronze medals at the Middle Atlantic DQT, and our 10U, widely recognized as one of the most improved teams in the area as they progressed through their season, finished 4th and earned a bid to Division 1 Nationals in Orlando, FL.  Our 12U traveled to Division 2 Nationals in Rochester, MN, where they finished with a record of 6-1 and earned 5th place medals.  Our 14U team got its first taste of the Blue Chip exposure tournament circuit at Philadelphia University, and our 15U got terrific exposure at the Boo Williams Nike Invitational in Hampton, VA and the USA Invitational at Penn State.

In 2011, our 9U brought home the first Magic gold at the District Qualifier and placed 13th at Division 1 AAU Nationals in Orlando, Florida.  Our 10U breezed through the early part of the season, and after a heart-breaking loss in the first round of the DQT, rose back to the top as Renegades Summer Rumble Pool Champs.  Our 13U won gold at the Lehigh Valley Super-regional over a very big, strong Lady Knuckleheads team from New York, earning their own bid to Division 1 Nationals in Florida.  Our older teams traveled to local and regional tournaments, garnering exposure in Virginia, at Philly U, and at the Jersey Shore.
