Coach Andy Krasna
Coach Krasna enters his 34th consecutive season
coaching basketball. He currently
serves as “The Director of Travel Basketball” for the Pennsbury Regional
Basketball League and coaches the Bristol Middle School Girls Basketball
Team
Many of Coach Krasna’s former players, both male and female,
have gone on to successful division 1 college and professional basketball
careers. Some of the well-known female
AAU and Travel Team players from the Philadelphia area who played for Coach Krasna

In 1978 at the age of 20, Coach Krasna took on his first
head coaching position with the Lakewood, NJ, Biddy Basketball League
where he guided his 5th grade boys squad to the league championship. He spent six years in the Lakewood, NJ
league refining his coaching skills.
After moving to Bucks County in 1983, Coach Krasna had successful coaching
assignments at The Newtown Friends School coaching both the boys and
girls Middle School teams. Coach Krasna
later went on to coach the JV Girls team at The Lawrenceville School. For the past 17 years, Coach Krasna has been
actively coaching AAU basketball teams for PRBL, Lower Bucks Lightning and
Fencor.
Coach Krasna has been married for 29 years to his wonderful
wife Jodi who is a basketball junkie.
They have 2 children, Lindsay and Jesse, both of who will assist their
dad throughout the spring and summer.
Assistant Coach Lindsay Krasna
Coach Lindsay Krasna enters her 5th consecutive
season coaching basketball. She is the
current head coach for the Philadelphia Girls High School Maccabi Team. Her Maccabi teams have won 3 consecutive
medals in the following summer Maccabi Games:
2011 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania -- Gold
2010 Baltimore, Maryland – Gold
2009 San Antonio, Texas -- Bronze
Lindsay is a 2004 graduate and class valedictorian of
Pennsbury high School.. She also excelled
outside the classroom in both volleyball and basketball at Pennsbury where she
served as team captain in both sports her junior and senior seasons. As a senior, she led her volleyball team to a
Suburban One League title, a District One title and a State Final appearance. On the basketball court, Lindsay primarily
playing point guard, graduated as the all-time leading scorer at Pennsbury
(1,293 career points) and she was the all-time assist leader (416 career assists).
Lindsay’s basketball and academic successes continued in
college as a member of the Cornell University Women’s Basketball Team. Lindsay’s impact was felt immediately as a college
player. As a freshman she led her squad
in scoring with 332 pts 12.6 PPG. She
was 1st in the Ivy League in free throws made and free throw
percentage at 87.1% which put her 11th in the nation overall. This is a Cornell school record which still
stands today. She was named to the
2005 Ivy All-Rookie Team, just the 5th player in program history to
receive this honor. Lindsay continued
to develop both on and off the court in college. As the team captain her junior season, she was named to the
Academic All-Ivy Team, just the 8th player in program history to
receive that honor.
After graduating from Cornell in 2008 from the Nutritional
Science Honors Program, Lindsay remained at Cornell for a 5th year earning
her certification as a Registered Dietician and Nutritional Counselor. In 2010 Lindsay put her academic interests
on hold to play professional basketball overseas. She joined forces with WNBA star Kia Vaughn from the NY Liberty, winning
the 2010 Israeli Cup and the Division 1 Israeli League championship for Team Ramat
HaSharon.
Lindsay is also an accomplished singer songwriter and
performs at various college campus venues and well as coffeehouses in
Manhattan.
Lindsay is currently pursuing a graduate degree in
Psychological Counseling at Columbia University, in NYC. As part of this program, she works part time
as a Psychology Intern counseling patients at The Addiction Institute of New
York. When Lindsay is not working,
studying, performing or coaching, she laces up her sneakers and plays
competitive hoops in a women’s league in NYC.
Assistant Coach Jesse Krasna
Coach Jesse Krasna enters his 2nd consecutive
season as an assistant AAU Girls Basketball coach. Jesse was the skills coach at PRBL-AAU Basketball in 2011 where
he helped young players primarily with guard skills. He has worked as a counselor and basketball trainer at many high
school summer camps.
Jesse graduated from Pennsbury High School in 2010 and was
named both the Bucks County Courier
Times Player of the Year and a 2010 Bucks
County Courier Times Scholar Athlete.
A four year starter as the point guard, Jesse is 3rd all-time
in assists at Pennsbury. He scored 924
career points and shot 79 % from the charity stripe. He dished the ball to some very outstanding players at Pennsbury.
Lavoy Allen currently a rookie with the
Philadelphia 76ers and former Temple University standout was the recipient of
many of Jesse’s passes. Dalton Pepper,
a current Temple University player was thankful to have Jesse at the controls,
scoring over 2,000 points for his career. Jesse was a two year captain in high
school leading his team both his junior and senior seasons.
Jesse is currently playing college basketball for the Ursinus
Bears and is in his sophomore season.
He had a tremendous freshman campaign starting all 25 games and
averaging over 33 minutes per game. He scored 250 points (10 PPG), grabbed 114
rebounds (4.6 RPG) dished out 103 assists (4.2 APG) and had 28 steals on the
season. Most impressive of all is that
Jesse was named Team Captain for his sophomore season by his coaches, an honor
that is quite unusual for a 2nd year player at the college level.
Jesse is a standout in the classroom as well as on the
basketball court. He is on the Deans
list at Ursinus College with a 3.87 GPA.
Jesse plans to teach elementary education and expand his involvement in
coaching and training young athletes after graduating.
